It was a day filled with joy and excitement as pupils from Nursery One to Primary Six gathered for the closing ceremony of the Ichie Akubudike Foundation Summer Holiday Lessons. The program, fully sponsored by the foundation, offered children a unique opportunity to learn, interact, and expand their knowledge during the long vacation.
In his remarks, the Secretary of the Foundation, Chief Sunday Anene, who represented the Founder, High Chief Martin Nwabueze (Ichie Akubudike), expressed heartfelt gratitude to the organizers, teachers, and pupils for their dedication throughout the summer lessons. He noted that the program aligns with the foundation’s philosophy of fostering and promoting quality education for the younger generation.
Chief Anene assured that the foundation would continue to improve on the initiative, promising that next year’s edition would be even more impactful, engaging, and beneficial to the children.
One of the highlights of the ceremony was the award of prizes to outstanding pupils. The top three performers in each class category, from Nursery One through Primary Six, were honored with prizes in recognition of their academic excellence and commitment. Speaking on behalf of the teachers and organizers, Mr. Chukwudi Okonkwo commended the Ichie Akubudike Foundation for its generous investment in education.
