The family of Mrs. Okoro Happiness Chikaodili from Ukwulu town, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State, has received a life-changing intervention at Gilead Children Hospital, Abagana. After weeks of battling illness and financial hardship, their child’s outstanding medical bills were cleared by the Ichie Akubudike Foundation, which also provided food items and cash support in a remarkable act of compassion.
The initiative, led by the foundation’s Chairman and Founder, High Chief Jim Martin Nwabueze, Agubuzo na Dunukofia, brought full financial relief to the family, who had been unable to pay for their child’s treatment.
Speaking during the visit, the Foundation’s Secretary, Chief Sunday Anene, explained:

He reassured the family that all medical expenses had been fully covered, while also presenting them with food items and cash support, lifting a heavy burden from their shoulders.
The Chief Medical Director of Gilead Children Hospital, Abagana, warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed deep appreciation for the timely intervention. He described the foundation’s generosity as “truly admirable and worthy of emulation,” noting that the food support was especially crucial for the baby’s recovery.
Overwhelmed with gratitude, Mrs. Okoro thanked the foundation for stepping in at a time of great economic hardship, praying for God’s blessings upon the founder and his family.
